the age limit would depend on the youth. I started teaching firearm safety and shooting to my children and grandchilden at about age 9............. No im a police officer for Chambers County Ive done it for about 7 years the age limit for young youth is age 10 but you were close.

Of course there may be a law in your state on age limit. I am a retired police officer and my primary firearms teaching was my children and grandchildren. Very little teaching of children outside my family. I have observed firearms teaching of scouts down to age 7......................Again, each state may be different ?
