The Dominican Republic. This country receives visitors from all over the world mainly Europe, Canada, and U.S. Recently Punta Cana in Dominican Republic is becoming very Popular. If you are talking about all visitors from around the world then The Dominican Republic is most visited in Caribbean. I think this may also have to do with the fact that the Dominican Republic has the most tourist attractions in Caribbean, It has a lot of firsts in this part of the world, 1st city, 1st church, 1st university etc. It has a colonial area where you can visit Christopher Columbus house/museum, Also this island offers the most variety of attractions; you have white sandy tropical beaches on the coast, vast resorts, whale watching, large urban city of Santo Domingo with exciting night life. This is a modern city with high rises and the most extensive subway system in the Carib. also has tropical forest and the highest mountain in the Caribbean (pico duarte). It's a different climate up there, infact the forest there is pine trees instead of tropical forest found just below those mountains. Snow has been reported in winter up there. The western part of the island has a tropical desert climate with cactuses Also, there is awesome cave exploration. They even have a disco inside a huge cave. And to top it of, they have the biggest resort (casa de campo) with best golf course, with it's own Intern. Airport. So imagine all this variety in just one Caribbean island.
