At the end of the book Holes, Stanley finally brakes the curse by carrying up madam Zeonies grate grand son up gods thumb. Later they dig and find the treasure witch has Stanley's name and last name making it all his. Zero/Hector and Stanley are let out and of camp Green Lake and share the treasure found at camp. Camp Green Lake was then closed a few weeks later for illegal workers and missing documents so all of the boys get to go home. Later Zero/hector uses some of his money to find his lost mom who has also been looking for him for all this time and Stanley's dad finally discovers a product called Sploosh that gets rig of foot odder and witch sells very well. In the end Stanley's family buys a big house become the Zeronies neighbors and live happily ever after.
