In the first four books of the series the Great Prophecy is only hinted at. It is says to be about a half-blood of the Big Three that reaches 16, and will make the decision that either saves of destroys the Gods. The exact Prophecy (Don't read if you don't want spoilers, this appears in "The Last Olympian") "A half-blood of the eldest gods shall reach sixteen against all odds and see the world in endless sleeps, The hero's soul cursed blade shall reap. A single choice shall end his days. Olympus to preserve or raze." Pretty intense, huh? Just a hint, "raze" is different than "raise". Raze means: "Obliterate, Annihilate. Turn to rubble" -Annabeth. So raze = not good. :)

Leo's journey involves navigating the challenges posed by the gods, but any alliances or agreements he forms are more about survival and teamwork rather than formal deals.
