packet switching is nothing but the process of converting frames of data into small packets by using some of the algorithms...............
PSTN stands for Public switched telephone network PSDN stands for Public switched Data network / Packet Switched Data Network. The basic difference between two is the switching technique used. PSTN uses Circuit Switching and PSDN uses Packet Switching

A 150g packet of crisps costs about R7.50 (around 1 USD) and a 350g packet costs about R16.
The collective nouns for cookies are a box of cookies, a bag of cookies, or a batch of cookies.
TTL (Time to Live) is reduced by 1 every time a router forwards the packet. The purpose of this is to reduce the negative effects of routing loops. If two routers are misconfigured (it happens) and send a packet back and forth to each other assuming the other router will take care of it, the packet would simply never go away, if it wasn't for TTL. It guarantees that this can only happen a maximum of 256 times (generally quite a bit less). Once that TTL reaches zero, the packet is discarded.

Packet Switching =)
Packet Switching - Computer Communications (Digital)Circuit Switching was used for old fashioned telephony. At present, many companies use VOIP (Packet Switching) for voice communications.
Data transfer will be faster in packet switching providing the setup time in circuit switching is greater than the time required to send a packet. If not, that is setup time in circuit switching takes less time, then circuit switching is quicker.
In circuit switching there is also some required overhead; the overhead in packet switching is usually a small percentage of the total traffic; and in any case, the benefits of packet switching far outweigh any disadvantage of some minor overhead.
telephone system uses packet switching because packet switching is reiable. In a packet switching when a packet(some part of total information) is lost then the packet can be retransmitted. But in case of circuit switching if any part of data is lost anytime then total data will be retransmitted. Again circuit swithing is more speedy with compare to packet switching. In order to increase the bit rate (more speed) circuit switch is prefered in Internet.

packet switching
Circuit switching and Packet switching are used in Telephony. Circuit switching is used in voice communication and packet switching is used in transmission of data packets to provide internet connection.
There are three type of switching system such as circuit switching ,packet switching , massage switching.
Packet switching has two advantages: (1) If something goes wrong, only a small piece of data (the packet) has to be resent. (2) Packet switching allows multiplexing - several communications happening at once.Packet switching has two advantages: (1) If something goes wrong, only a small piece of data (the packet) has to be resent.
