∙ 13y agoThe movie, "The Lion King," starts and ends in a savanna. However, toward the middle of the movie it is hard to tell whether he is in a jungle or just a dense forest.
Either way, in real life, all lions today live in savannas, deserts, or tropical to subtropical woodlands. About 10,000 years ago, however, lions lived as far north as Europe and even had made it to North America, and thus inhabited many temperate habitats.
