use high octane if you can, the rotary engine tends to build up carbon on low-end gas, and if any carbon gets into your apex-springs it can damage your engine

You failed to list make, model, year, or engine size, but, What you should use is exactly what is recommended by the manufacture as listed in your owner's manual. The use of a higher Octane fuel is a total waste of money and will provide no benefit whatsoever. No better mileage, no more power, nothing, but throwing money away. It is a myth that higher octane is better.
As long as its the FC3S model it will fit.

Try to use the highest octane you can, and try to stay away from ethanol tainted gas, the fuel system is not built to handle it and will develop leaks.
