Nothing. Someone else had to shake her so that the apple piece fell from her mouth. The Queen makes a poisoned apple, and eats the white part and gives the poisoned red part to Snow White. She eats the apple eagerly and immediately falls into a deep stupor. Time passes, and a prince traveling through the land sees Snow White and is enchanted by her beauty and instantly falls in love with her. He begs the dwarfs to let him have the coffin. The prince's servants carry the coffin away. While doing so, they stumble on some bushes and the movement causes the piece of poisoned apple to dislodge from Snow White's throat, awakening her.

Technically, it was Flowers and Trees (1932). It was the first film to win the Oscar for Best Animated Short. Snow White and the Seven Dwarfs did not win and Oscar but it did receive a special honorary Oscar for its achievement as the first full-length animated film in history. The first feature length animated Disney film to win a competitive Oscar was Pinnochio. It won Best Score and Best Song (When You Wish Upon A Star). Ironically, as of 03/07/2010, Disney has yet to win the Oscar for Best Animated Feature (unless you count Pixar as part of Disney).

"Snow White" was first published by the Brothers Grimm in their collection "Grimm's Fairy Tales" in 1812. The tale was part of the first edition, titled "Grimm's Kinder- und Hausmärchen" (Children's and Household Tales). The story has since become one of the most popular fairy tales worldwide, inspiring numerous adaptations, including Disney's animated film in 1937.
Okay, so with Snow White, the secondary cast absolutely pops the story into their hands. The Seven Dwarfs (kudos to Doc, Grumpy, Happy, Sleepy, Bashful, Sneezy, and Dopey) are pretty much the real MVPs they accept her, they defend her and they also provide the entire narrative with that comfy, mad house family feeling. Evil Queen (aka ultimate villain vibes) stirs the drama through her craze of mirror, mirror. There is also her toxic hype man, Magic Mirror, and the Huntsman, who practically rescues Snow White by not executing his part of the plan the Queen had in mind. Genuinely, this would not sound just the same without this crew.
The fairy tale of Snow White was collected by the Grimm Brothers.
