The Ronettes, whom they are based on were Veronica Bennett, Estelle Bennett ( now deceased) and Nedra Talley. Nedra"s mother was Ronnie"s mother"s sister- she was a music teacher and one of two chaperones used by the group ( Morals observers, so to speak) The Ronettes were two blood sisters and a cousin, the chipettes are all blood-sisters.
