I am not sure what you mean. San Francisco State is across the bay from San Francisco so I would say that is the closest attraction. More directly you have downtown Berkley which is an interesting place with little shops, coffee houses, and cafe's. If you are staying at S.F. State it is easy to get into the city from there. Ferries and buses go into the city all the time and getting around the city is very easy using the public transportation.
