In my opinion The Express is the best football movie ever. It is the story of Ernie Davis, the first black athlete to win college football's Heisman Award. Then he gets drafted number one by the Cleveland Browns. Paired in the same backfield with Jim Brown. Only to learn he has luekemia. Davis would never play in the NFL. Luekemia killed him but the Browns showed a lot of class by retiring his jersey anyways.
