im currently employed at La Mon Hotel in Northern Ireland which is a huge hotel, four stars and everything so its not like its some wee scummy set up, on a part time basis, and i am 14. Dont know what age you have to be for full time, but at 14 you can definitely work part time. I dont know what the limits on hours are but im working 15 hours this week.
The legal age is around sixteen, for smaller buisness's, like the mall or a grocery store, the more legal age requires you to be over 18, and to have graduated highschool and to have gone to a good college.
For piercings it is entirely up to the parents. Nowdays you can see babies with piercings, however some salons have rules about the minimum age they will pierce a child but there is no legal age.
