The Greasers and The Socs.
I think the main idea of the book the outsiders is not judge people by where they live, what they wear, or what kind of car they drive. but to judge them by who they are as a person. and to remember that all people are the same on the inside and different on the outside.
The main conflict in "The Outsiders" is the clash between two levels of society. There are the "greasers" who are poor and struggle to make a living and the "Socs" who are rich and really don't have to struggle financially.
The main idea is acceptance.
the main character is ponyboy
The Outsiders is a book written by S.E. Hinton, when she was only 15, finished when she was 16. The book follows the story of Ponyboy Curtis, when he is 14, among the gang, of greasers, and their rival groups, Socs (pronounced So-shiz).
well the main idea is the rilvary between the two groups. The Socs and the Greasers.

There were two main classes of society in the early days of the republic and they were the Plebeians and the Patricians. Remember that other important classes of society arose, such as the Equites, during Rome's long history. As for tension between the groups, it was only during the early days that there was conflict between the Patricians and the Plebeians (in later times both groups were considered the nobility). This tension and unrest was due to the inequality and lack of civil rights for the Plebeians. There were two main classes of society in the early days of the republic and they were the Plebeians and the Patricians. The main idea is acceptance.
The main problem is that the Greasers and the Socs have a conflict in between them or something like that . this prolly won't help , but whatever . bye! Melanie .
