The central story deals with a secret society of millionaires whom engage in torture and murder to fulfill their own warped pleasures. Their central means of procuring new victims is to use attractive men and women whom pose as tourists staying at hostels and gain the trust of the new victims and then drug them, at which time they are transported to the places of their deaths for profit.

Currently, there is no Hostel 3, but it looks like there will be, sooner or later (see the Related Link below). Unfortunately, it appears as though Eli Roth (who wrote and directed Hostel 1 & 2) will not be involved in it.

hostel 2
"Hostel" is a fictional horror film that is not based on a true story. It portrays a gruesome tale of tourists being kidnapped and tortured, but there is no evidence to suggest that such a hostel actually exists.
No, Saw isn't the best; the Hostel movies are much better (in my opinion, anyway). Both Hostel 1 and Hostel 2 feature incredibly gory torture scenes, but they are also extremely suspenseful and well-written films.
