Very few films have been done on such a morbid and macabre subject- it is rare that the death of a child figures DIRECTLY into a motion picture though there have been some side glances such as the FlightPlan. (Jody Foster film)- or maybe it was FlightPath, written as one word. The ill-named Christmas Tree dealt with a male child dying of Leukemia contracted by witnessing a freak accident ( exploding bomber giving off toxic chemicals while Pop and Son were out fishing or boating) for some reason Dad not affected. Film had obvious environmental impact angles ( quite timely with oil rig disaster in Gulf states!) Maybe a movie was done on Audrey Rose- this was a morbid suspense Novel about a dead girl. her tomb monument was on the cover.
