Timothy Mcgee is played by Sean Murray. On NCIS, he is a Federal Agent who has a degree in Biomedical Engineering and Forensic Science. His co-worker, Anthony Dinozzo, refers to him as "McGeek", "Probie", "Elf Lord" and various other nicknames. He is a big fan of computing and in some episodes, you can see inside his apartment, which is clustered with electronics and home-made prototypes. He works closely with Abby Sciuto, the Forensic Scientist, and as the series continues, they both develop feelings for each other and it shows, but neither can express it and he is very protective of her. He has one sister, who attends a nearby college. He also is a writer, author of "Deep Six". A supposed fiction book about federal agents but it is very much based on his team of fellow co-workers, even thought he has always insisted that he never intended it to be based on real life. His team consists of his boss, Special Agent Gibbs, his two co-workers, Ziva David and Anthony Dinozzo (And Caitlin Todd(Kate) who was shot by Ari in Series 2), the Forensic Scientist, Abby Sciuto, and Doctor Donald Mallard, the madical examiner and Doctor Donald Mallard's medical assistant, Jimmy Palmer.
