Bolt was a dog in a Hollywood TV show. The show was about him, the dog with supernatural powers, who had to save his owner, Penny, from "the man with the green eye". But Bolt escapes from the Hollywood studios, and somehow ends up on the other side of the country. He thinks he has real superpowers, and never realized he was acting in the Hollywood show in the first place. It's a great movie, you should watch it.
