LaPorte is not full of old people...its not ghetto though its a very nice place to live(i live there). LaPorte is not a bad place at all. They are having more issues with gang involvement, mainly in the Hispanic community that is driving their crime rate up. LaPorte is a diverse community with a large amount of older people and now many younger people moving in.
