I disagree with all of you. the climax is supposed to be the "aha momment" when the character understands something, in which this case for freak the mighty would be when Mighty or Max tells Killer Kane that he remembers him killing his mom

Kevin aka Freak went into the hospital after having a stroke, while Kevin was in the hospital he asked Maxwell to write down all the quest they went on. The next day Kevin had to have a operation to keep him alive , Kevin died and Max went wild running around the hospital like a accident of nature.
