A red scale does not do anything. It just shows that you have had the red gyarados.
actually, you can give it to Mr. Pokemon and he'll give you an EXP. Share. besides that, nothing :P

∙ 13y agoThe Red Scale is a very useful item. Once you have it you can take it to Mr. Pokemon's house on Route 30 (above Cherrygrove City) and exchange it for an Exp.Share.
