Control is the power of being able to direct something. Power is the control over something. Basically, control needs power, and power needs control in order to work. The first part of the definition above is quanitfiably true. The summation, however, may or may not be true. For one to wield power effectively, control is a necessity. However, power can be wielded without control to great devestation. Many Martial Arts demonstrate that the greatest control requires very little power. Additionally, the application of greater and greater power usually leads to a reduction of control.
