because Parvana's mother won't make Nooria(Parvana's older sister) go to Marza by herself. And Parvana said she doesn't want to go to Mazar with them, She wants to wait her father out of prison in kabul.
They didn't. Father got out just before Nooria's marriage was announced.
Nooria (older sister) Maryam (younger sister)
Parvana feels that arguing with Nooria no longer makes sense because their circumstances have become increasingly dire and challenging in their war-torn environment. She realizes that their energy is better spent supporting each other rather than engaging in conflicts that seem trivial in the face of their struggles. Additionally, the shared hardships have fostered a sense of understanding and empathy between them, making disagreements feel less significant. Ultimately, Parvana understands that unity is essential for survival and resilience.
In Chapter one. Parvana goes to the prison to get father out of jail. And the worst part was she hears father's snoring.
Parvana's relationship with Shauzia changed because Shauzia left in the hopes of travelling to Paris, so she left Parvana. And if you've read the book Parvana's journey, you'll notice that Parvana keeps writing to Shauzia because she has no one left, even though she doesn't know where Shauzia is
Parvana's father before his arrest was a teacher in "The Breadwinner" by Deborah Ellis. He provided for their family by conducting lessons at home and writing and creating books. He encouraged his daughter Parvana to be brave and independent.
Mrs.Weera and Parvana Find Parvanas father Sitting Outside The Prison...He forgot the way home so he couldn't go back when he got back all he did was sleep but parvana kept bugging him -------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------- Shauzia decided to leave her family and travel with other people. Shauzia and Parvana have decided to meet each other in front of the Effel tower in Paris, France in 20 years. Nooria was going to Mazar-e-Shari(, unoccupied town north from their home) to get married. Parvana refuses to go, so Mom, Nooria, Maryham, and Ali(baby brother) go to Mazar-e-Shari , while Parvana stays in their apartment with Mrs.Weera. Soon after her family's departure for Mazar-e-Shari, Parvana finds her father outside of the prison(that her mom and her tried to speak with the guards but only got beaten and blisters on their feet from walking) Parvana brings him home so he can rest. Parvana later finds a crying woman named Homa in a building that I think was destroyed. Homa tells Parvana that she has escaped from her home that has just been attacked. The place where Homa escaped from was Mazar-e-Shari, the place where Mom, Nooria, Maryham, and Ali have just headed to. Have they been killed? Have they survived the attack? Parvana is prepared to find out what happened to her family as she heads there herself In the next book, Parvana's Journey, is the story of what happended to her family and the next book,Mud city, is the story of what happens to Shauzia, her classmate from school
the resolution is that parvana and her father is going to Mazar to find their family because they heard that Talibans are taking over Mazar too and Mazar is the place where Nooria(parvanas older sister) having her wedding
