I assume you are referring to data compression, specifically video or audio. Resolution is how precisely a binary representation details an original piece of information. if it's audio, it usually refers to how many bits are used in each sample, and it tells how accurately each sample matches the original sound wave. if it's video, it usually refers to how many pixels each frame is made out of (same for still images). Usually people refer to only the height and width, but color depth also is included in this definition too. Bitrate determins how much actual binary data a given resolution of information will take up. Normally, these would be directly proportional, and you could exactly calculate them. For sound, take the sample resolution * sample rate * number of channels = bits per second. For video, take width * height * bit depth * frame rate = bits per second. However, with compression, bitrate often will determine how accurately that binary data is stored in a compressed data stream. Generally, the higher bitrate you use, the better it will look, and the higher resolution you use, the higher bitrate you need to maintain constant quality (compared to lower resolutions).

What is the relationship between pixel to pixel in image processing?

Image processing involves various operations on images. An image is a collection of pixels. Each pixel has its position and resolution.

What is the relationship between a pixel and a megapixel?

The number present.

What is the pixel resolution of aerial images?

Resolution varies from 15 meters to 1 centimeter depending on the source. Above states ground resolution, not pixels. But pixel resolution would again depend on source.

What is the resolution of the Htc one m9 screen?

The HTC One M9's screen resolution is 1080x1920 pixels, 441 ppi pixel density.

What is the relationship between pixels and resolution?

Usually the more pixels you have, the clearer or higher the resolution you have.

What is meant that bitmap graphics are resolution dependent?

bitmap or raster images are in other words pixel images and every pixel image must have resolution, resolution is number of pixels per inch, cm

Is 4.4 MB a high resolution photo?

It depends on the purpose. 400 pixel resolution on a printer is about average. It produces clean documents. However, 1200 pixel resolution will generate much smoother details.

What measurement represents a digital camera's resolution?

Pixel

What is the difference between spatial resolution and spectral resolution?

The spatial resolution of a sensor can be defined as the area of ground imaged by one pixel. High spatial resolution means each pixel represents a small square of ground, so it is easy to identify tiny features in an image. Spectral resolution is the width of the regions of the electromagnetic spectrum that a sensor will detect. High spectral resolution allows material identification through a characterization of its spectrum.

1percent is equal to how many pixel?

Depend on screen resolution of user. for example if screen resolution is 1024 then 1% Of 1024 = 10.24 pixel that's the way it should stand for.

What is the means of increasing resolution of an image mathematically?

Interpolation. Make a new pixel the average of its surrounding pixel colors.
