What is the resolution in twilight eclipse?

The resolution to the first book, Twilight, is the destruction of James and the rescue of Bella. From there, the resolution is expanded upon by the prom scene in which Bella expresses her desire to be like Edward, and Edward makes his first statements of opposition.

As for the very end with the Volturi, they convince them that Renesmee is not a threat. They do this by finding another half human-half vampire named Nahuel. They show the Volturi that Nahuel is not dangerous, and they leave the Cullens unharmed. However, Irina from the Denali Coven is killed for the false alarm with Renesmee being unsafe to them.
