Isabella Marie Swan is the main character of the book and film Twilight ( and also soon to be New Moon) Bella Swan moves to gloomy Forks, WA to live with her father Charlie. What she didn't encounter would be meeting the aluring Edward Cullen, with his pale skin, gold and black eyes and breathtaking looks, Bella is determined to find out what he is. What she doesn't know is that the closer she is to him, the more she is putting herself, and others around her, at risk... Its seriously really good!!!! That is the role of Bella swan, she is the main character.

Something "special" about Bella Swan is the scent of her blood. It, apparantly, is sweeter or more alluring than most humans' blood. Also, when she becomes a vampire, she is able to cast a mental force field, meaning that she protects others from attackers that harm the mind (such as Jane from the Volturi, or Edward.) Because of this ability, Edward cannot read her mind. When Bella Swan is a newborn vampire, she also shows an incredible resistance to the bloodlust that most vampires show. Just a few days after being bitten, she is able to be around her half mortal daughter, Reneesme, who (even being half vampire) has a pulse.
