Charlotte is the spider. She cares for others. Charlotte makes plans and figures out a way to make the best of a situation. She tries her best to help others. Charlotte helps Wilbur with his troubles, and explains things. Near the end of the book, she has baby Spiders, and Wilbur (the pig and also the main character) has to find ways to care for Charlotte.
