What is the similarity between Adam and Eve's story and Pandora's story?

There are some general similarities, such as the idea that Human Civilization develops because of disobedience to the Divine and punishment results from this disobedience, but the fundamental basis of the stories are completely contrary. In the story of Adam and Eve, it is a bad thing that Adam and Eve rejected paradise by violating the Divine commands and rupturing a truly interactive relation with the Divine. By contrast, Prometheus is a hero who betrayed the capricious gods who had left humans isolated and alone in order to bring them fire and the progress toward civilization. For his deed, Prometheus becomes the eternal martyr, punished by the gods for saving humanity from powerlessness and disconnect.
