Lysosomes and Golgi bodies both are single membrane bound.

They both are involved in secretory mechanism of cell by forming GERL(Golgi body,Endoplasmic reticulum,Lysosome) system.

An enzyme called acid phosphatase is present in both these organelles.

What were some similarities between the plant cells and the animals cells?

Both animal cells and bacterium cells have ribosomes, and mesosome. And the cell shape is similar in both typical animal cells and typical bacterium cells. This is not always the case though.

Is it true that Golgi bodies contain enzymes that destroy waste?

Lysosomes do the recycling. They are arised from golgi.

Where are lysosomes produced?

They are produced in cytoplasm. They are produced by golgi.

What do golgi bodies?

Golgi bodies accept modified proteins from the ER and further modify them, package them in vesicles, tag them as to " address " and ship them to places usually outside the cell. Though some cellular proteins are prepared by modification in the Golgi. The Golgi also modifies the hydrolytic enzymes that the lysosomes use and the lysosomes bud from the Golgi.

Which organelle makes lysosomes?

Lysosomes are created by adding hydrolytic enzymes to endosomes from the Golgi body, so you could say that they are made by the Golgi body.

What is the relationship between lysosome and Golgi?

golgi makes lysosomes. haven't you heard of Google?

What do lysomes and gogliu bodies have in common?

Both lysosomes and Golgi bodies are membrane-bound organelles found in eukaryotic cells. Lysosomes serve as the cell's recycling center, breaking down waste materials, while Golgi bodies are responsible for processing, packaging, and distributing molecules within the cell.

What is the Golgi body and what does it do?

Golgi bodies helps in the formation of cell plate (during cell division of plant cells ). Also they helps in synthesis of lysosomes and secretory vesicles.
