The 3 metre tall bronze statue of Tangaroa, Maori god of the sea, on Stoney Point was unveiled by Governor General Sir Denis Blundell in 1976. The statue was commissioned from sculptor Frank Szirmay in 1973 by Bob (later Sir Robert) Owens to commemorate Tauranga being gazetted as a port of entry a century earlier.

It has many huge airlines flying into it including Aerolines Argetinas, Thai, Singapore, LAN, Air Tahiti Nui and Emirates who fly the A380 into Auckland. Christchurch is second who hosts to airlines as such as Singapore airlines, Emirates, Qantas and Air Asia X (starting Feb 11). And of course, Christchurch airport services the Antarctic flights of Operation Deep Freeze. Other airports that host to overseas airports are Queenstown, Dunedin, Wellington, Rotorua and Hamilton. Hope I can help :)

No it is not. Wellington in New Zealand is the windiest harbor in the world. I work in Maalaea and it is the 2nd windiest in the world.
· Quail Island (Lyttelton Harbor, New Zealand)
I heard it was in New Zealand. I could be wrong, but apparently I work at the second (or first, according to a few different sites) harbor in the world which is Ma'alaea Harbor on Maui, Hawaii. It is definitely windy constantly so I wouldn't doubt it.
To replace the need for ferry's to get to the other side of the harbour
