I believe it is 27.3 or 23.7 degrees(: look it up
The Earth's rotational axial tilt causes the seasons.
The revolution of the earth defines its tilt. The "tilt" is the angle between the axis of rotation of the earth and the axis of its revolution around the sun. Both these axes must exist to define the tilt. If the earth did not rotate on an axis of its own, or if it did not revolve around the sun, it would be meaningless to speak of a tilt.
The axial tilt of the Earth's spin (relative to the ecliptic, or the plane of the Earth's orbit around the Sun) causes our seasons.
23.5 degrees from the perpendicular.
The tilt of the Earth represents the angle of the Earth's axis in relation to the north and south poles. If the poles were exactly perpindicular to the earth's orbit around the sun then the "tilt" would be 0 degrees. The amount of tilt is not exact as the Earth has a slight "wobble" so the tilt fluctuates between 22 and 25 degrees. Right now we are "tilted" about 23.5 degrees. You won't be able to notice the change though as it takes 41,000 years for the complete cycle of the wobble. The tilt is important to us as this tilt is what gives us our seasons.
earth can not tilt it is a sphere and they do not tilt
Earth's tilt
slope
A tiltmeter measures changes in the tilt of the earth. :)A tiltmeter is an instrument that measures changes in the tilt of the earth. :)
The tilt of the Earth's axis is why there are seasons. =)
Really what does the tilt of the earth have to do with the earth............................. ............................................................................................................................... .............................................................................................................................. .........................................................That is a stupid question rewrite it then ask it again
Earth's tilt
a sandstone layer is found tilted at an angle of 75° from the horizontal. what probably caused this 75° tilt?
They change by the tilt of the earth's axis!
No. Earth's tilt does not change as Earth revolves around the sun.
The Earth's rotational axial tilt causes the seasons.
The tilt of the earth changes how the sun stikes
