I have been living in Sweden for 40 years and have found that visitors usually appreciate the spring (end of April, beginning of May) the midsummer festivities (end of June) the summer light June and July - lighter the further north you get. If you want to ski, some slopes are open from December through June.

The Church requires that you do nothing special on any saint's feast day unless it is a feast of the Blessed Virgin Mary that is a Holy Day of Obligation. If Teresa is your patron saint or the patron saint of your parish, you may wish to assist at Mass that day or your parish may have special festivities planned to honor the saint.
