There's the episode "A Stop at Willoughby" where the protagonist is unable to get off the train to check-out a town in his dreams . Willoughby is a town set in the past to a time that is simpler and has little of the demands that are imposed in a more demanding time such as the future .
He , Gart Williams , does get off the train and loses his life and is picked up by a hearse which has the name of "Willoughby & Son Funeral Home" on the hearse .
I believe you are talking about an episode of the Alfred Hitchcock Hour. See the associated link for information.
Willoughby- He thinks it is an obsolete town- it turns out to be the name of a Funeral Parlor- is seen on the side of a Hearse that picks up his body! typical of the morbid humor occasionally indulged in in Twilight Zone. I recall this episode as I am a railroad buff, and it did involve the Railroad.
This is an episode The Calusari - in the second season 2x21
