Made in the early 1950's, before the HiPower was officially introduced to the US market. Value would be around $2500.

Usually located on the frame/reciever and/or barrel.
Royal Gun Works was a trade name on shotguns made by Anciens Etablissments Pieper in Belgium from 1905 to 1957.
The barrel will have 'Made in Belgium' on it. The receiver can be dated by serial number.

Not likely to find one. Serial numbers weren't required on long arms until 1969 and this gun was made by Anciens Etablissment Pieper around 1910.

There was a Henri Pieper Arms company or small plant in Liege Belgium in the late 1880's. This was one of seven gun makers in Liege Belgium that joined forces to make militaryrifles. This group eventually evolved into the famous Company "Fabrique Nationale" or "FN".
