You are no doubt referring to the 'phallic castle cover'. Honestly it's only worth what someone is willing to pay for it, considering you can see the original castle on the web. Therefore, that aspect of the cover isn't exactly rare and hard to find.
Now that VHS tapes aren't being made anymore, it could be considered a collectible so it might be worth something, but a recent search on ebay showed someone selling the 'banned cover' for as little as $1.99, and as high as $99 so like I said, it only has as much value as you place on it.
on the cover in the middle of the castle u can see a pennies. that's why its so rare and banned.
No, Jodi Benson voices Ariel but Ashley Tisdale has a cover of "Kiss the Girl."
Anyone who wants to buy it obviously, although I can't imagine there are that many people who want to buy it.

He asked Red to smuggle one in for him.

The original cover of Hans Christian Andersen's "The Little Mermaid," published in 1837, features a mermaid sitting on a rock, gazing longingly at the horizon. Often depicted with flowing hair and a shimmering tail, the mermaid is surrounded by a serene underwater scene. The design typically includes a whimsical, fairytale-like quality, reflecting the story's enchanting yet melancholic themes. Illustrations may vary by edition, but the central image of the mermaid remains a focal point.
You can't modify the image like you would with the original. It is sometimes possible to make changes in Photoshop or overlay blocks to cover the original etc. but it is not particularly practical.
By themselves, not much. But with the original vinyl, cover, and poster, up to $130 on eBay.
