i dont think so because when i watch tv i take in some things and some of it is good it all depends on what kind of tv you watch because if u watch stuff that seems like it will rot your brain it just might but if you watch things that are educational you can learn something that you didnt know already

It depends on what you're watching. If you watch a horror movie that frightens you, then your heart rate will rise the same as it would in any other situation that frightens you. Likewise, watching something that you find relaxing will lower your heart rate, just like any other situation that you find relaxing. The TV itself has no intrinsic effect.
It depends on what kind of videos you wish to watch there is youtube.com which has millions of different types of videos and hulu.com that is for TV shows and stuff of that sort.
