∙ 6y agoThe items from the ship still exists because they haven't decomposed on the floor of the ocean. A tea cup made of porcelain doesn't breakdown and stays the same. The coldness of the water also preserves items. Finally, it is a historical site and a place where thousands died so is also a grave.
