Steve McQueen drove a blue 1963 4-door Ford Galaxie 500 in the scene after they rob the bank (its the car in the movie poster where they hit the porch) a white wood panel 1968 ford Ltd. country squire station wagon (the car he stops to chew her out) a 1969 chevy impala 4-door (he races down the highway after the shotgun scene) he may have driven more in the film but these are the cars in the script the character is supposed to drive) its also not well known how much driving McQueen did,but Sam Peckinpah filmed the movie in sequence.so when you saw McQueen driving in a scene he probably drove the whole scene. when you did`nt see McQueen driving it was probably his stunt double Loren Janes (who worked with McQueen on almost every film after)

In the "Cars" movie series, Lightning McQueen and Francesco Bernoulli are both portrayed as incredibly fast race cars, but Francesco is often depicted as being slightly faster due to his design and racing pedigree. In "Cars 2," during their race, Francesco initially outpaces McQueen, but McQueen's skill and determination ultimately allow him to win. Therefore, while Francesco may have the edge in raw speed, McQueen's racing abilities and strategy are what make him a formidable competitor.
