Tracy was a song electronically recorded by a (Group) called the Cuff Links, which were actually a one- ot two man show using trick recording. It was a nice medium rock song- and very catchy. The only other song they did that made the charts- though they recorded albums- was When Julie comes around- and sings her happy song of summer. I am not aware of the Tracy song ever having been used in a movie. When it was discovered the Cuff Links were something of a hoax, their ratings dropped. The Monkees was a similar fraud- a real comedy team but a dubbed-in pre-recorded rock group. They never performed live. Even their Unicycles were fake- had auxiliary training wheels as a Popular Mechanics article on Unicycles by Bob Gannon exposed!
