yes there is...a disappointment after the book but stilll "a cry in the wild" Agree with above answer. You can't really tell how Brian is feeling like how desperate he is for fire, and time sees to go by really fast in the movie...I like the book better. You mgiht like it if you watch the movie before you read the book, though...
