yes I once knew a lady from France,
in 2006 there were 2168000 living in Paris
People in France live in many different areas. There are regions that are similar to provinces in Canada or the states in the USA. There are many large cities, like Paris, Lyon, Marseille, Strasbourg, Nancy, Nantes, etc. but there are also smaller towns like Orléans (south of Paris) and also very small villages like Imling (near Nancy). Most people who live in large cities live in suburbs of the city (it is very expensive to live within the city limits and also very impractical). People live on farms, in chateaux (not castles but manors or "mansions" if you will...). For the most part, they live just like we do in the Western world!
Snails, are eaten in France, but are not known to live there because of the city life, poodles are of BIG population in france, and live in the houses so people so YES they do live there, and honestly I have NO idea if horses live there, I would imangine no... only because Paris is a city, and you wouldn't see a horse just wondering about in a city now would you? :) hope this is help ful :)
