One man drank a lot of whiskey on the ship while it was sinking when he realized he would not be allowed on a lifeboat. He jumped into the freezing water as the Titanic began to break apart, but did not freeze to death because there was so much whiskey in his system he couldn't.

Look, I'm a big fan of both of these disasters. But in my word, I think both of these acts were truly sad. I cried when i saw videos of it. But if i had to choose, I would choose the Titanic. Because it was people enjoying a perfect getaway and it all came down to a disasters. People were smiling and they were looking like angels, they were so happy until their death. But some got lucky and survived the titanic. Some who survived are still living and some are dead. But I have feelings For WTC also. it was sad how they fell with destruction and terroring falls. Yes and No. If you were still trapped inside the ship, the amount of water and the pressure of it would have killed you instantly. If you were on the deck and jumped off or got sucked down with it you could have survived if you knew how to swim. But also the water was below freezeing so the more you tried to swim and move the faster you died. Many people were still in the water when the ship went down. Only like 6 were rescued from the water.
