There were no particular problems while building Titanic, only that the work had to be accelerated to meet the deadline (which had to be re-appointed after missing the first one).
However it's worth noting that eight people died in the course of construction, six onsite and two offsite,

∙ 14y agoAs The Titanic was leaving Southampton, the Suction of water from her wake caused the SS New York to pull from her moorings and head straight for the Titanic. With the quick thinking of Captain Smith in putting the engines in reverse, the Collision was avoided with just four feet to spare!
