Many programs! Most studios use Maya & 3dmax for modelling & Maya for animation & rendering ( with mental ray). Recently, some programs have entered the challenge as Cinema4d which is very good program. THEN, some programs help for montage &post-production as Fusion & After effect. We can say that Maya is the king for now!
