Well, that depends on what you mean by your question. If you mean 'Were the Illusions performed by Edward Norton real, and actually performed by Edward Norton?" Then the answer is No. If you mean, 'Were the illusions displayed in the movie, actual illusions, performed by real illusionists at one time or another?" Then the answer is Yes. The "Orange Tree illusion" was invented by a french magician Robert Houdin. And was used to with great success in the 1800's. Including the "butterfly" ending. Briefly, Edward Norton is seen to be performing Braue Dekolta's, Dekolta Chair, as well. Which is an illusion still being performed today. As far as the mirror illusion, I'm not quite sure if an illusion was performed that was similar to that. Towards the end of the movie where the "Spirits" appear... That was actually performed in the 1800's as "Pepper's Ghost" Actually invented by Henry Dircks in 1862. Hope that answers your question.
Yeah, it's comming out this summer or this winter of 2012
I am assuming you mean CBT fetish films? If so, they are very real. It is just like it looks in the movie, no tricks and no holding back.
Alex is in a movie so the wand is a prop. It was probably custom made for the movie. And if Alex Russo was real in real life she would have gotten it at her birth or whenever her Dad showed her magic.
Yes, and much of the movie was shot thare. The real Magic mansion is the foothills of the Dandenong Ranges. Whare six magicians, Ian Baxter, Simon Coronel, Neville Finney, David Jones, Barry Govan and Peter Rodda, regularly perform. if you want to know more, check out: www.magicmansion.com
Well, there was a man named Blaise Pascal, who created Pascal's Wager. He says, "It is better to believe in a religion and find out you're wrong, then to not believe in religion and find out you're wrong." What he is trying to say is if you believe in a religion(I'll be using Catholicism for my examples) and you believe in all the good stuff waiting for you if you're good, you have something to strive for. When you don't believe, your life becomes pointless.
magic
a magician is someone who performs illusions, an illusionist is a better name as they do not perform real magic, but rather the illusion of magic.
Magic
depends on what you mean magic tricks or actual magic magic tricks can easily be learned from magic trick set. real magic on the other hand is harder to aquire if even real but would probably be very hard to learn if it can even be taught.
magic
no magic tricks are real. I no this because I am a magician. I usually have secret gimmicks or I just use science.
We can only speculate, unseen forces like gravity seemed like magic, before they were explained by science. there is much more out there waiting. If interested in this topic, read up on Houdini, who had some tricks that could not be duplicated and many believe his tricks were not all tricks, but real magic.
First, there isd no such thing as 'real' magic. In the real world, people who do magic tricks are illusionists (it is a professional skill) and they learn how to do this from books and each other.
There is a huge difference between magic and illusion. An illusionist uses mirrors and slight of hand to make things appear to happen 'magically'. But it is not really magical. Real magic takes someone schooled in the occult, usually it involves something dark and evil. An illusionist is entertaining, an occultist is better left alone.
sorry no, i am a magician myself and i have learned all of his tricks and all of them are illusions or lighting tricks or he uses tape or somrthing.
