By the time fall has arrived, lakes have become thermally stratified. This means that cold water is found at the bottom, warm water is found at the top and a temperature gradient in between. Dead planktonic organisms, sediments, and other nutrients have become abundant near the surface. As cool winds prevail and the sun is less intense during fall, the surface waters (or epilimnion) begin to cool and become more dense. These cooler, more dense waters begin to sink past the thermocline to the bottom waters or the hypolimnion and the once stratified lake has become a more uniform temperature due to mixing. When the cool water sank during this mixing, it brought with it the nutrients from the epilimnion which provides for benthic organisms.-

What are its implications in relation to the seasons we experience?

The implications of seasonal changes are profound, affecting ecosystems, agriculture, and human behavior. Seasonal variations in temperature and daylight influence plant growth cycles, animal migrations, and breeding patterns. In agriculture, these changes dictate planting and harvest times, impacting food supply and economies. Additionally, seasons can affect mood and lifestyle, as people often engage in different activities and social behaviors depending on the time of year.

Relationship between demand and supply?

1:inverse relationship between supply and demand 2:supply depends upon the demand of a commodity, that it might be positive or negative. 3:supply always depends upon demand but demand never depends to supply. 4:a supply never affects the demand of a commodity but demand always affect to its supply. 5:demand is the initial stage but supply is the stage after demand. 6:supply have a positive relations to price whereas demand has a negative relations with price. 7:supply and price has a direct relations or positive relation. 8:law of supply relates to the price and supply of a particular commodity in a particular time period. 9:price has a connections with demand and supply that it affects both supply in a positive way and demand in a negative way and if price changes then both demand and supply will change. 10:demand curve shows the changes positions of demand in a different price level of a particular commodity where demand schedule also shows the changes positions of demand in a different price level of a particular commodity, hence both have a common objectives to depict the same result in a different way.

Is electricity cheaper in the evening?

Electricity prices can be cheaper in the evening, depending on the utility provider and the region. Many utilities implement time-of-use pricing, where rates are lower during off-peak hours, typically in the evening when overall demand decreases. However, this can vary widely based on factors such as local energy supply, demand patterns, and seasonal changes. It's best to check with your specific utility provider for accurate pricing information.

4 What is the difference between a transformer and a rectifier Which are found in a PC power supply?

A rectifier is a device that converts alternating current to direct current. A transformer is a device that changes the ratio fo current to voltage. A rectifier is found in a PC power supply.

What is monosoons?

Monsoons are seasonal wind patterns that bring significant changes in precipitation and temperature, primarily affecting regions in South Asia, Southeast Asia, and parts of Africa and Australia. They are characterized by a shift in wind direction, typically resulting in heavy rains during the summer months when warm, moist air moves from the ocean to land. The term "monsoon" originates from the Arabic word "mausim," meaning season. Monsoons play a crucial role in agriculture and water supply in the affected areas.
