Me again. I was thinking black pants, shoes, and button down with a white undershirt. I'm not sure about a tie or bow-tie yet. I don't own a suit jacket, so would it be worth it to buy one?
I'd ask your date what color her dress will be and then have your shirt or tie match. As for the jacket, it depends on how formal the dance is. Some homecoming dances request tuxedos and others just pants and shirt are fine. Ask someone who went to this school's homecoming last year to see what people wore. Also, as a personal preference, do not wear a black shirt with black pants... just not flattering.
I'm sorry, I forgot to mention that I'm just going with a group of friends this year. No date for me haha.
beccause Johnny was like the group pet and Dally felt like he should have stopped him from going into the burning church
Well as you seem to be asking some of your girl friends, tell him you are going to the movies with some friends and would he like to join you all. Who should pay - the total cost should be split equally, as a guy I wonder why guys have to pay for girls. A guy is likely to feel less pressure with a girl that pays her way, and will have a lot of respect for that. Mom, well tell her you are going to the movies with a group of friends, if some of your friends don't have dates, the keep it to a group of friends going to the movies - kind of relaxed and easy going for a first date (For you and him) then when you are getting to know each other better ypou can try a date with just the 2 of you. Good luck !
Either the group is meeting to fight (per the movie) or they are going to watch a fight.
Johnny announces that he is going to turn himself into the cops.
I will go out on a limb to say that I doubt very much if anyone (even the Gaithers) know exactly how many and what religious affiliation the various singers belong to. That is the beauty of this group of believers. They have two things in common: their love of Christ Jesus and singing praises to the Lord.
Go with people you like.
It depends on what type of classes..... But in general no you would NOT capitalize "classes"Right-classesWrong-Classes
No, of course not. You can make up a good excuse as to why you're not going or you can hang out with some friends that night. Sometimes, my group of friends would plan our own party on homecoming night because we didn't like dances.
A freshmen or freshman is a 9th grader (first year of high school). Both are correct. Freshmen is plural: "The Freshmen sit in the first rows at the game." Freshman is singular: "The student waiting in the office is a Freshman."

We is a way of saying "these people here." We were going to the store. We ran down the stairs in a group.
The answer, rounded to one decimal place, is 25.4%. This means you have just over a one-in-four chance of choosing the freshman from the entire student population. You can figure it out for yourself by solving this division formula: (size of group you want to pick one from) --------------------------------------------------------- = Probability of choosing from the group (Total size of population you'll choose from) For this problem, the answer is: 350 / (350+320+310+400) = 350 / 1380 = 0.253623188.... ~= 25.36%
The group of words, "If you are going to school..." is a noun clause, a group of words that has a subject (you) and a verb (are going) but is not a complete thought, not a complete sentence.
