Well., this stretches the fabric like a tent roll truck! the Carnival was indoor- really closer to an interactive Fun House. the show was called Shenanigans. It was only on once a week ( Sundays as I recall) and the host of the program was a man called Stubby Kaye- no relation to Danny Kaye. it had a Hokey carnival background that was reminiscent of a live-action, walk around the board - sort of monopoly type board. different contestants were chosen from the studio audience. the only remotely similar program was the Puzzle Palace which is a mixture of a Chinese Auction ( guessing content of closed boxes housing gifts)- and sort of price is right idea- also indoor and angled at kids.l Neither show is still alive.
