On the TV show Hogan's Heroes, Colonel Wilhelm Klink is the incompetent, dimwitted kommandant of Stalag 13, where Hogan and his men are being held. He is depicted wearing a monocle and bald headed. Throughout the series, he strives to be a general. (He is the only one in his class who has not made general.) Also, he constantly brags about his perfect record of no escapes to his superiors. Klink is also violinist, though not very good at it. In addition, Hogan can easily bribe him by scaring him of the Russian Front. Colonel Klink is played by Werner Klemperer.
