You can't, but when you do the Manaphy mission, you download Manaphy onto Diamond/Pearl. *The only time you connect with any other Pokemon games is when you transfer that Manaphy egg. After that, you cannot interact with Pokemon Diamond or Pearl anymore.

Rudy, sapphire, emerald, leaf green, fire red trade back and back and forth with each other but can't trade with diamond/peal (only can migrate) and black and white can only trade back and forth with each other but can migrate from any other Pokemon from GBA or DS platform

∙ 12y agoFirst of all it depends of what versions you have some are not compatible with another so you gotta make sure your trying to trade between compatible versions with each other. Second you will need the proper accessory whether it being a Gameboy Link Cable or Gameboy Advance Link Cable or even a Wireless Adapter. Third it depends what console your using as you can see those accessories are for the Gameboy and Gameboy Advance but let\'s say your using a DS then all you need is a cartridge of pokemon leafgreen, firered, ruby, sapphire or emerald then place it in the GBA slot of the DS. Fourth you must all be in a pokemon center and go to the trade center while linked up, for migrating pokemon you must save the game in the pokemon center with the pokemon you want to migrate in one of the boxes in the PC. Fifth trade/migrate if none of these options is for you then you must resort to the GBA to GCN cable or Wireless trading with the DS wifi connection.
