Belgian Congo (today the Democratic Republic of the Congo). It was founded in 1908 and became independent in 1960.

The UK actually had many colonies in Africa! The British owned parts of Africa all the way from the 1600's to 1980.
Nigeria is the name of the British colony in West Africa.
